Our first season marked the birth of our brand’s signature style: a fusion of Bauhaus aesthetics and the Space Age. This collection tells the story of how MATTA was born: in the midst of pandemic chaos, we decided to take a creative approach and explore new ideas. We drew our inspiration from the fresh, elegant and a somewhat quirky shapes of the sixties. We also pursued vibrant colours such as yellow, red and blue, creating a minimalist and modern aesthetic in all our pieces. These three rebellious colours were the perfect antithesis to the greyness of the moment we were living through.

At MATTA, we love stepping out of our comfort zone to explore new creative horizons. Our first season was a statement of intent, we wanted to challenge fashion rules with a range of colours and shapes both vibrant and bold. Are you ready for our proposition?
